Flower Power Amaryllis Desktop Plant

The Amaryllis Desktop Plant will arrive already planted in our custom soil that provides the bulb with all the nutrients it needs to thrive. Each bulb grows at its own rate – a beautiful reminder that nature works on its own timetable. 

Your desktop plant will include:

Glazed Ceramic Planter – A Gardenuity exclusive, this artfully cast planter pot is glazed with a subtle ribbed design. A colorful, modern home accessory! Designed with a drainage hole; includes saucer. 

Amaryllis Bulb – This oversized amaryllis produces beautiful white flowers and only needs indirect natural light, making it a great indoor desktop plant. Each bulb is sourced from our farm partners in Peru and comes with the Gardenuity Get Growing Guarantee.

Foundation – The Gardenuity Foundation is custom blended seasonal compost, full of nutrients for your plant to thrive. Your White Alfresco Amaryllis will arrive already planted in this soil.

Decorative Moss – The moss is only for aesthetic purposes. You can remove or keep as much as you want around the base of your plant.

Your Amaryllis Desktop Plant only needs a little nurturing, water, and indirect sunshine! A printed care card is included.

{icon_watering}WATER{/icon_watering} When the soil feels dry to the touch, water the soil and not the bulb (approximately ¼ cup per week). Once the first bloom appears, your amaryllis will need more frequent watering, up to 2-3 times per week.

{icon_sunlight}LIGHT{/icon_sunlight} Place your planted Amaryllis in a well-lit room, but not in direct sunlight and not directly in any drafts. Rotate the planter every few days to help keep the stems growing straight.

{icon_temperature}TEMPERATURE{/icon_temperature) Once the amaryllis is in full bloom, keep it at a cool room temperature with bright, indirect light to prolong the life of the blooms. (Amaryllis prefer temperatures in the range of 60-70 degrees F.)
