Each hand-finished Waxed Amaryllis Collector’s Bulb is a sculptural work of art that comes to life, producing multiple large, vibrant Sovereign blooms with absolutely no soil, planting, or watering required. With everything needed for its first blooms naturally stored inside the bulb, the experience is as effortless as it is magical.
Beautifully displayed on a mantel, bookshelf, desk, or holiday tablescape, each Bloomiture™ celebrates the character of handcrafted artistry and the beauty of nature. What begins as a whimsical seasonal accent gradually transforms before your eyes. Green shoots emerge, stems stretch upward, and spectacular Sovereign flowers unfold above the hand-painted figurine.
Known for their brilliant orange-red color, Sovereign blooms create a striking contrast with the imaginative sculpture below. The result is living décor in its most enchanting form: art that evolves, blooms, and brings a new moment of wonder each day.
Every bulb grows at its own rate—a beautiful reminder that nature works on its own timetable. Blooms typically begin appearing in 4–6 weeks, but please allow up to 8 weeks. After the final bloom, gently peel the wax shell off the bulb and plant it for more blooms next year!

When your Waxed Bulb arrives, take it out of the box as soon as you can and place it in indirect sunlight. Printed care cards are included with each order.
{icon_sunlight}SUNLIGHT{/icon_sunlight} Your Waxed Bulb will thrive in indirect sunlight. Keep the bulb in a well-lit room, but avoid placing it in direct sunlight. Rotate the bulb every week to help keep the stems growing straight.

After you’ve seen the last bloom, you can peel off the wax and plant your bulb either outside or in a planter with well draining soil to enjoy more blooms next year.

If you plan to gift your bulb in a month or two, keep it cool, dark, and dry to help slow growth. Refrigerated storage can help delay blooming until you’re ready.
- Remove all packaging. Take the bulb out of all packaging.
- Make sure the bulb is completely dry.
For Bloomitures™, lacquered, or glossy bulbs, check the exterior for moisture before refrigerating. If it is damp, leave it at room temperature for 24–48 hours, or until fully dry. Refrigerating these bulbs while damp can cause the specialty wax finish to crack or flake off. - Store it in a cool, dark, dry location. Place the unboxed bulb upright toward the back of your refrigerator, away from walls and cooling vents to prevent freezing. Alternatively, use a dry, well-ventilated space that stays between 45°F and 55°F (7°C–13°C), such as a cool basement or spare room. Avoid damp areas and any location that may reach freezing temperatures. No watering is needed.
- Keep it away from ripening fruit. Do not store amaryllis bulbs near ripening fruit (especially apples), as they release ethylene gas, which causes premature aging and can damage or kill the bulb. Ideally, store ripening fruit in a separate refrigerator. If apples must remain in the same refrigerator, place them in a container or closed produce drawer away from the bulb; (note: this does not eliminate exposure.)
- Bring it out when you’re ready to gift or place. Return the bulb to room temperature and place it in a bright spot with indirect light to encourage growth. No planting, watering, or feeding is required.
Please note: Every bulb grows at its own pace. Cool storage helps delay growth but may not stop it completely or guarantee a specific bloom date.

If your fully-rooted plants are not thriving upon arrival or have any issue within the first 7 days of delivery, contact us so we can have a replacement plant sent to you. Simply email GrowPro@Gardenuity.com with a picture of your plant and your order number.
Our Waxed Amaryllis Bulbs take an average of 4-6 weeks to bloom; however, some may take up to 8 weeks. If your wax bulb has not begun blooming after 8 weeks, we can have a replacement shipped to you. Please email GrowPro@Gardenuity.com with a picture of your bulb and your order number.

Your order will ship within 2-4 business days after purchase. Once your order ships, it may take an additional 2-5 business days to arrive at your door.
Your live plants may arrive separately, as they often ship directly from our farm partners (no waiting in a warehouse somewhere). Live plants ship Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays via FedEx 2-day. We do our best to make sure everything in your order arrives the same or next day.
**Please Note: Shipping your plants safely is our top priority. If impending weather comes in, your order may be held for a few days to ensure the live plants can travel safely.
