White Alfresco Hand-Planted Amaryllis Bulb

The White Alfresco Amaryllis Desktop Plant will arrive planted in our custom soil designed to provide the optimal nutrients for the bulb to thrive. Each amaryllis bulb grows at its own rate – a beautiful reminder that nature works on its own timetable. 

Your desktop plant will include:

Bamboo or Concrete Planter – Our signature reusable planter box made of sustainably sourced bamboo (includes planter liner and saucer tray), or an organic modern grey pot with a brushed cement finish (includes planter liner and drainage hole). Both planters measure approximately 5” x 5” x 5”.

Double Sonata Alfresco Amaryllis Bulb – A large double-blooming amaryllis bulb that produces beautiful white flowers and only needs indirect natural light, making it a great indoor desktop plant. Each bulb is sourced from our farm partner in South Africa and comes with the Gardenuity Get Growing Guarantee.

Foundation (Soil) – The Gardenuity Foundation is custom blended compost, full of nutrients for your amaryllis to thrive. Your Amaryllis bulb will arrive already planted in this soil.

Stake + Twine – To give your amaryllis extra support as it grows!

Decorative Moss – Place the moss on top of the soil, surrounding the base of your plant (optional). The moss is only for aesthetic purposes, so add as much or as little as you want.

When your Alfresco Amaryllis Desktop Plant arrives, take it out of the box as soon as you can. Printed care cards are included with each order.

{icon_watering}WATER{/icon_watering} When the soil feels dry to the touch, water the soil and not the bulb (approximately ¼ cup per week). Once the first bloom appears, your amaryllis will need more frequent watering, up to 2-3 times per week.

{icon_sunlight}SUNLIGHT{/icon_sunlight} Place your Alfresco Amaryllis in a well-lit room, but not in direct sunlight and not directly in any drafts. Rotate the planter every few days to help keep the stems growing straight.

{icon_temperature}TEMPERATURE{/icon_temperature} Once the amaryllis is in full bloom, keep it at a cool room temperature with bright, indirect light. Amaryllis prefer temperatures in the range of 60-70 degrees F.

{icon_petfriendly}TOXICITY{/icon_petfriendly} Keep your Amaryllis bulb out of reach of your furry friends. Amaryllis bulbs are considered toxic for both dogs and cats.
