Garden Code to Redeem Fully-Rooted Herb Plants – This culinary inspired collection of plants is matched to the season, growing location, and to each other. When your recipient is ready to get growing, they can redeem their complimentary plant collection with their Garden Code. The plants are sourced from one of our family-owned farm partners and come with our Get Growing Guarantee.

Coir – Compressed coconut husks that when hydrated will expand and become part of your garden's planting media. Balances moisture retention with good airflow, ensuring plants have consistent water without suffocating roots.

Lava Sand (Primer) – Improves drainage and soil structure by creating stable air-filled spaces at the root zone. Helps prevent soil compaction over the season, especially important in container gardens. 

Foundation (Soil) – The Gardenuity Foundation is custom blended seasonal compost, full of nutrients for your plants to thrive.

Gardenuity's Herb Serum – A proprietary blended plant nutrient and soil amendment that will help your plants grow a stronger and healthier root system. Derived from seaweed and humate, the Herb Serum will aid in bringing balance through naturally derived and plant friendly microbes.

1. Redeem Your Plants
Once your garden kit arrives, you can redeem your complimentary plant collection whenever you’re ready to start growing. Simply email growpro@gardenuity.com with your Garden Code and shipping address. A Grow Pro team member will contact you to match you with the best culinary herb plants for your garden and ensure you’re set up to receive all your Grow Pro benefits. Your plants will then ship free from one of our farm partners, directly to your door.

2. When Your Plants Arrive
Remove the plants from the box and check the soil. If it feels dry, place the plants in a shallow dish of water so they can soak up the hydration they need. Then place them in a sunny location until you’re ready to plant. (It’s best to plant your herbs in the grow bag within 24–48 hours of arrival.)

3. Set Up Your Garden
Garden setup is simple and typically takes 20–30 minutes from start to finish. Printed instruction cards are included in your kit, or you can follow the step-by-step video tutorial.

{icon_sunlight}SUNLIGHT{/icon_sunlight} Your herb garden will need 4-6 hours of sunlight per day.

When temperatures are over 90 degrees, we encourage you to move your garden into a shady spot. If the temperatures are forecasted to dip below 36 degrees, you may want to move your garden inside and away from the cold.

{icon_watering}WATER{/icon_watering} Water your garden 4-5 times per week. Checking on your garden every morning is encouraged!

{icon_feeding}FEEDING{/icon_feeding} Once per week, use your Gardenuity Herb Serum and orange scoop to feed your garden.

{icon_harvesting}HARVESTING{/icon_harvesting} You can begin harvesting herbs 10-14 days after planting!
