The Conversation Desktop Garden comes as a kit with step-by-step instructions and everything needed to care for indoor tropical plants. Everything in the mini garden kit is designed with your recipient in mind and customized to the needs of their plants.
Your Mini Tropical Desktop Garden will include:
White Ceramic Planter + Tray – A custom home for the tropical plants! The planter is 3.75 x 3.75 x 3.5 inches, and the drip tray is 4.25 x 4.25 x 0.5 inches. Plant liner is included.
2 Tropical Plants – Both of the tropical plants have aligned light, soil, and nutritional requirements, making them ideal companion plants for the indoor desktop garden.
Tropical Foundation – The Gardenuity Foundation is custom blended seasonal compost, full of nutrients for the tropical plants to thrive.
Tropical Serum – The Gardenuity Tropical Serum is custom blended and full of nutrients for the tropical plants to thrive.
Orange Scoop – To use when watering + feeding your plant!
Decorative Moss – Place the moss on top of the soil, surrounding the base of your plant (optional). The moss is only for aesthetic purposes, so add as much or as little as you want.
Mister Spray Bottle – Fill with water and mist your plants.
When your plants arrive, take them out of the box as soon as you can. Remove the round Coir wrap from each plant. Check your plants' soil + make sure they are well-hydrated. If they feel dry, place them in a shallow dish of water for 10-15 mins to let them soak up the water they need before placing them in their new home.
Setting up your Desktop Garden is simple and generally takes 10-20 minutes from start to finish. Printed instruction cards are included in each kit.
PLANT CARE TIPS:
{icon_sunlight}SUNLIGHT{/icon_sunlight} Your tropical indoor garden needs 4-5 hours of indirect, natural light every day.
{icon_watering}WATER{/icon_watering} Water your garden once per week by removing the planter from the decorative pot and placing it in a shallow dish of water for 15-25 minutes; your plants will absorb the water they need. After watering, let your plants sit a few minutes in the sink to allow excess water to drain out before placing it back into the decorative planter.
{icon_humidity}HUMIDITY{/icon_humidity} Your tropical plants like humidity. Every day prior to turning on your computer, take 5 seconds to lightly mist your plants.
{icon_feeding}FEEDING{/icon_feeding} Feed your garden monthly. Fill your orange scoop with water and 2-3 drops of the Tropical Serum. Slowly pour on top of the soil.
{icon_growProTip}GROW PRO TIP{/icon_growProTip} Rotate your garden at least every few days to give your plants equal exposure to sunlight.
Each side of the white ceramic planter can be printed with your choice of words or numbers (12 Characters Maximum). Valid characters include letters A-Z, numbers 0-9, and special characters. No emojis. All characters will be capitalized.
Please allow up to 7 business days for customization. Your desktop garden will ship 1-2 business days after customization is complete. Orders with a customized planter usually arrive within two weeks of order placed.

If your fully-rooted plants are not thriving upon arrival or have any issue within the first 7 days of delivery, contact us so we can have a replacement plant sent to you. Our Waxed Amaryllis Bulbs take an average of 4-6 weeks to bloom. If your wax bulb has not bloomed after 6 weeks, we can have a replacement shipped to you. Please email GrowPro@Gardenuity.com with a picture of your bulb and your order number.
Our Microgreens take an average of 6-10 days to germinate. If your microgreen seeds have not germinated in 14 days, we can have a replacement shipped to you. Please email GrowPro@Gardenuity.com with a picture of your Microgreens Desktop Garden and your order number.
