Dad's Garden Kit with tomato + herb plants

Your Dad's Garden Kit with seasonal tomato + herbs will arrive with everything needed to have a successful growing season and abundance of fresh harvests. All you need to add is the nurturing, water, and sunshine! Everything in the garden is matched to you and to the needs of your plants.

The outdoor garden kit will include:

Portable Grow Bag with handles made of breathable microfiber fabric that will help keep your plants' roots healthy and happy. Your plants will grow the entire season in the grow bag. (You can reuse the Grow Bag for next season, too!)

Fully-Rooted Tomato + Herb Plants – A collection of plants matched to the season, your location, and to each other. These fully-rooted plants are sourced from one of our family-owned farm partners and come with the Gardenuity Get Growing Guarantee.

Coir – Compressed coconut husks that when hydrated will expand and become part of your garden's planting media.

Soil Primer – A proprietary blend of nutrients designed as the chief dietary supplement to support the growth of soil microbes.

Foundation – The Gardenuity Foundation is custom blended seasonal compost, full of nutrients for your plants to thrive.

Primer – A proprietary blend of nutrients designed as the chief dietary supplement to support the growth of soil microbes.

Triple Blend – A proprietary blend that will support the living organisms in your soil and will aid in balancing the pH of the growing media. Triple Blend brings together carbohydrates, plant proteins, kelp extract, Humate, and a fermentation buffer.

Protector – Hydrating Mulch; an organically derived soil protector to help maintain moisture balance, reduce compaction of soil, and moderate soil temperature.

Gardenuity Veggie Serum – A proprietary blend with seaweed and humate; Seaweed provides nutrition to the plants and soil, and encourages your plants to effectively draw nutrients from the foundation.

Feeding Scoop – For hydrating and feeding your garden!

When your plants arrive, remove them from the box and check the soil. If it is dry to the touch, place your plants in a shallow dish of water and let them soak up the hydration they need. Then, place them in a sunny spot until you are ready to plant them in the grow bag.

Setting up your garden is simple and generally takes 30 minutes from start to finish. Printed instruction cards are included in each kit, or you can follow along with the provided video tutorial.

{icon_sunlight}SUNLIGHT{/icon_sunlight} Your garden will need 6-8 hours of sunlight per day.

When temperatures are over 90 degrees, we encourage you to move your garden into a shady spot. If the temperatures are forecasted to dip below 36 degrees, you may want to move your garden inside and away from the cold.

{icon_watering}WATER{/icon_watering} Water your garden 4-5 times per week. Checking on your garden every morning is encouraged!

{icon_feeding}FEEDING{/icon_feeding} Nourish your garden once per week with the Gardenuity Veggie Serum. Shake your serum well before use. Fill the orange scoop with tap water and add 2 full droppers worth of serum. Pour the mixture directly on the soil.

{icon_harvesting}HARVESTING{/icon_harvesting} You can begin harvesting herbs 10-14 days after planting!
