  • Your Succulent Terrarium Desktop Garden comes as a kit with step-by-step instructions and everything you need to care for your plants. As you build your indoor garden, enjoy getting a little dirty in the soil and creating a unique ecosystem with your plants! Everything in the terrarium kit is designed with you in mind and customized to the needs of your plants.

    Your Terrarium Desktop Garden will include:

    Succulent Foundation (Soil) – The Gardenuity Foundation is custom blended compost, full of nutrients for your succulent plants to thrive.

    Orange Scoop – To use when watering + feeding your plant! 

    Decorative White Rocks – A decorative topper to give your terrarium a clean and finished look. 

    Paintbrush – To help you gently dust off your succulent so it can soak up the sunlight it needs to thrive.

  • When your package arrives, take the plants out of the box as soon as you can and remove any travel attire. Check the plant’s soil and make sure it is well-hydrated. If it feels dry, place the plant in a shallow dish of water for 10-15 mins to let it soak up the water it needs. Printed plant care instructions ship with each order.

    Setting up your terrarium garden is simple and generally takes 15-20 minutes from start to finish. Printed instruction cards are included in each kit.

    PLANT CARE TIPS:

    {icon_sunlight}SUNLIGHT{/icon_sunlight} Needs bright, indirect sunlight, ideally 5-6 hours per day. Aim to place your desktop garden near a window but avoid the harsh midday sun. 

    Rotate your garden once a week so it receives equal exposure to sunlight, grows evenly, and stays full.

    {icon_watering}WATERING{/icon_watering} Check your garden’s soil once a month. Only water when the soil is completely dry. Succulents thrive on infrequent, deep watering.

    {icon_growProTip}GROW PRO TIP{/icon_growProTip} Succulents grow by soaking up sunlight and turning it into energy through a process called photosynthesis — it’s how they feed themselves and thrive. When dust collects on their leaves it can block some of that essential light. That’s why we’ve included a small paintbrush in your garden kit — to help you gently dust off your plants and keep them growing.

  • We guarantee your plants will arrive healthy, happy, and ready to grow! If your fully-rooted plants are not thriving upon arrival or have any issue within the first 7 days of delivery, contact us so we can have a replacement plant sent to you. Simply email GrowPro@Gardenuity.com with a picture of your plant and your order number.

    Our Waxed Amaryllis Bulbs take an average of 4-6 weeks to bloom. If your wax bulb has not bloomed after 6 weeks, we can have a replacement shipped to you. Please email GrowPro@Gardenuity.com with a picture of your bulb and your order number.

    Our Microgreens take an average of 6-10 days to germinate. If your microgreen seeds have not germinated in 14 days, we can have a replacement shipped to you. Please email GrowPro@Gardenuity.com with a picture of your Microgreens Desktop Garden and your order number.

  • Your order will ship within 2-4 business days after purchase. Once your order ships, it may take an additional 2-5 business days to arrive at your door.

    Your live plants may arrive separately, as they often ship directly from our farm partners (no waiting in a warehouse somewhere). Live plants ship Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays via FedEx 2-day. We do our best to make sure everything in your order arrives the same or next day.

    Shipping your plants safely is our top priority. If impending weather comes in, your order may be held for a few days to ensure the live plants can travel safely.
