  • Your Terrarium Desktop Garden comes as a kit with step-by-step instructions and everything you need to care for your plants. As you build your indoor garden, enjoy getting a little dirty in the soil and creating a unique ecosystem with your tropical plants! Everything in the terrarium kit is designed with you in mind and customized to the needs of your plants.

    Your Terrarium Desktop Garden will include:

    3 Tropical Plants – Each of the tropical plants have aligned light, soil, and nutritional requirements, making them ideal companion plants for your desktop garden.

    Glass Planter + Coaster – A home for your tropical plants that acts like a mini greenhouse.   

    Pea Pebbles – Pea pebble landscaping rocks for the base of your terrarium.  

    Tropical Foundation – The Gardenuity Foundation is custom blended seasonal compost, full of nutrients for your tropical plants to thrive.

    Tropical Serum – The Gardenuity Tropical Serum is custom blended and full of nutrients for your tropical plants to thrive.

    Orange Scoop – To use when watering + feeding your plant! 

    Moss – Place the moss on top of the soil, surrounding the base of your plant (optional). The moss is only for aesthetic purposes, so add as much or as little as you want.

    Mister Spray Bottle – Fill with water and mist your plants.

  • When your plants arrive, take them out of the box as soon as you can. Remove the round Coir wrap from each plant. Check your plants' soil + make sure they are well-hydrated. If they feel dry, place them in a shallow dish of water for 10-15 mins to let them soak up the water they need before placing them in their new home.

    Setting up your terrarium garden is simple and generally takes 15-20 minutes from start to finish. Printed instruction cards are included in each kit.

    GARDEN CARE:

    {icon_sunlight}LIGHT{/icon_sunlight} Your terrarium garden needs 4-5 hours of indirect, natural light every day.

    {icon_watering}WATER{/icon_watering} Water your garden once per week. Simply fill the glass coaster with approximately 1/4 cup of water and place the planter on top. Allow it to soak up the water for 10-15 minutes.

    {icon_humidity}HUMIDITY{/icon_humidity} Your tropical plants like humidity. Every day prior to turning on your computer, take 5 seconds to lightly mist your plants. 

    {icon_feeding}FEEDING{/icon_feeding}Feed your garden monthly. Fill your orange scoop with water and 2-3 drops of the Tropical Serum. Slowly pour on top of the soil.

  • We guarantee your plants will arrive healthy, happy, and ready to grow! If your fully-rooted plants are not thriving upon arrival or have any issue within the first 7 days of delivery, contact us so we can have a replacement plant sent to you. Simply email GrowPro@Gardenuity.com with a picture of your plant and your order number.

    Our Waxed Amaryllis Bulbs take an average of 4-6 weeks to bloom. If your wax bulb has not bloomed after 6 weeks, we can have a replacement shipped to you. Please email GrowPro@Gardenuity.com with a picture of your bulb and your order number.

    Our Microgreens take an average of 6-10 days to germinate. If your microgreen seeds have not germinated in 14 days, we can have a replacement shipped to you. Please email GrowPro@Gardenuity.com with a picture of your Microgreens Desktop Garden and your order number.
