America Grows Giftable Garden

The America Grows Garden was created for beginners, busy professionals, and anyone who wants the benefits of growing without the overwhelm. This vegetable and herb garden kit will arrive with everything you need to start your own container garden and have a successful growing season! Everything in the garden kit is matched to you and to the needs of your plants.

The outdoor garden kit will include:

Embroidered Grow Bag (with handles!) Provides excellent drainage and aeration, helping prevent water-logging and promoting strong, healthy root systems. Fully-Rooted Veggie + Herbs, Bonnie Plants® – Your garden arrives with four healthy, established Bonnie Plants®, selected for seasonal success and everyday use. Seasonal varieties include but are not limited to: Tomato, Pepper, Basil, Oregano, Parsley. Plant varieties are based on seasonal availability and regional growing conditions.

Coir – Compressed coconut husks that when hydrated will expand and become part of your garden's planting media. Balances moisture retention with good airflow, ensuring plants have consistent water without suffocating roots.

Lava Sand (Primer) – Improves drainage and soil structure by creating stable air-filled spaces at the root zone. Helps prevent soil compaction over the season, especially important in container gardens. 

Foundation (Soil) – The Gardenuity Foundation is custom blended seasonal compost, full of nutrients for your plants to thrive.

Miracle-Gro® Pour & Feed® Singles – Delivers essential nutrients in a simple weekly application to keep plants fed through key growth stages.

1. Once your garden kit arrives, you can Redeem Your Plants whenever you’re ready to get growing! Simply fill out the Redeem Your Plants form and a Grow Pro team member will reach out and match you with the perfect plants for you to get growing now. (They will also make sure you are all set up to receive your Grow Pro perks!) Your prepaid plants will then ship for free from one of our farm partners and be delivered directly to your door. 

2. When your plants arrive, remove them from the box and check the soil. If it is dry to the touch, place your plants in a shallow dish of water and let them soak up the hydration they need. Then, place them in a sunny spot until you are ready to plant them in the grow bag.

3. Setting up your garden is simple and generally takes 30 minutes from start to finish. Printed instruction cards are included in each kit, or you can follow along with the provided video tutorial.

{icon_sunlight}SUNLIGHT{/icon_sunlight} Your garden will need 4-6 hours of sunlight per day.

{icon_watering}WATER{/icon_watering} Water your garden 3–4 times per week, adjusting based on temperature and rainfall. Morning is the best time to water, as it allows plants to stay hydrated and support healthy growth throughout the day.

When temperatures are below 85℉, water your garden 3-4 times per week. When temperatures rise over 85℉, water your garden every day.

{icon_feeding}Feeding{/icon_feeding} Feed your garden once per week using Miracle-Gro Pour & Feed Singles.

Tear open one pouch and pour it into the orange scoop, then fill the scoop with water. Pour the mixture directly onto the soil around the base of your plants. Be sure to water the soil — not the leaves.

{icon_harvesting}HARVESTING{/icon_harvesting} You can begin harvesting herbs 10-14 days after planting, with vegetables maturing soon after.
